Who We Are

Who We Are

Our Mission
(Luke 4: 18,19)

To give hope to the discouraged

Help people find freedom in life

Effectively proclaim the full Gospel of Jesus Christ

Meet the needs of the poor

With a population of around 3000, Ceduna is 780 km west of Adelaide and 480 km east of the Western Australian border on Highway One.

It is the main business centre for the region. Our main industries are dryland farming, aquaculture, commercial fishing and tourism. Large amounts of grain, gypsum, salt, and mineral sands, are exported through our deep sea port at Thevenard.

Just as Ceduna is a regional centre, so Oasis Christian Church is a regional church, ministering across an area of over 180,000sq kms, from western Eyre Peninsula to the Nullarbor Plain, from Streaky Bay to the edges of the Great Victoria desert.

Out of the main church in Ceduna, we minister to the huge area that is the Far West Coast of South Australia. From the coastal towns to small bush settlements and remote Aboriginal communities our vision is to ensure that everyone can hear and respond to the message of the Gospel.

Giving God all the glory he deserves.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.  Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

- Martin Luther King, Jr.

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
